She was born on January 21, 1943, in Ravenscroft, Tennessee.
Ann retired from McKee Baking Company.
She was a member of Ooltewah Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hodge, son, James E. Hodge, parents, Ray and Pauline Lawson, and five brothers, Jerry, Ronald, Paul, Larry and Randall Lawson.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (C J) Kruse, of Ooltewah, TN, two sons, Michael (Amanda) Hodge, of Charleston, TN, Ronald Hodge, of Chattanooga, TN, five grandchildren, James (Sharon) Knight, Ricky (Kayla) Stanton, Ashley Daniel, Jeremy (Christinia) Stanton, and Trever Hodge, seven great-grandchildren, Conner, Damien, Aliyah Knight, MaKenzie Shook, Jackson Daniel, Grayson Stanton, Delilah Stanton, brother, William Lawson, of Sparta, TN, three sisters, Betty Grasty, of Sparta, TN, Cathy Helton, of Cookeville, TN, Linda Sherell, of Cookeville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens – East with Rev. Edmond Stallings and Rev. Willard Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
