Audrey was one of my dearest friends, though she was younger than I am by about 10 months. We enjoyed Bible Study together every week. Then we would have lunch together, play dominoes and talk of times past. No one else could remember all the things we did at 98 and 99. Whenever she said good-bye, she gave me a hug and told me not to leave her. We never failed to say, "I love you." I talked to her the afternoon before she died, and she told me how happy she was that she was going to see her grandson Jordan. Now she will be looking forward to seeing him and all of us in heaven. I will miss her like everything, but I am happy for her and cherish her memory.  Alice Tornow

Dear Family of Audrey Jones: A few weeks ago I asked Audrey what her favorite hymn was. She quickly replied, "Great is Thy Faithfulness, because it is my life's hymn. I like it because it praises my God. He is everything to me. We each need to be in Him and He in us." Audrey was an inspiration to me at Sabbath School; always so cheerful and happy to be with friends at church. I know she loved her family and I hope as the months go by, the cherished memories you have of Audrey will grow the sweeter. I will surely miss her, but she is at rest now and free of all pain. Nancy, I was so sorry to hear about the untimerly loss of your mother; yes untimely even though she was blessed with almost a century of life. I can truly relate to what you're going through having recently lost my father. However, I imagine that losing a mother is even more painful because they are our life blood and first major relationship. Please try to hang on to the pleasant memories and the fact that your mother lived a full life and did not linger and suffer. The Counseling Center Team is praying for you and encourage you to take care of yourself. We'll keep things going until you return. I pray God's blessings on you and your family.
