Brenda Callahan, 52, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Sunday evening, December 9, 2012 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. A native of Tampa, FL, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 25 years and was a member of the Battlefield Community Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include her husband, Steve Callahan; three daughters, Angela Ensley, Ashley (Sam) Huhn and Amber (Jeff) Caldwell; son, Zackery (Katie) Callahan; three grandchildren, Constance Rae, Aiden Ensley and Emmett Huhn; mother and father, Jewel and Chuck Whidden, Collegedale; sister, Debbie Hinton; two brothers, Dennis (Gale) Whidden and Bruce (Christine) Whidden; Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Valley View Chapel with Dr. Jack Blanco officiating. Interment will be in the Collegedale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
