

Brian J. Kesley, 73, of Ooltewah went home to be with the LORD on Sunday February 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 5, 1951, to the late, William Cecil Kesley, Sr., and Sidney Irene Walker Kesley. He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, Class of 1969, where he excelled in athletics and even held the state record in the Shot Put for many years. Brian worked in the Security Alarm business for many years including establishing his own company, PM Alarms. He went on to work as an installer and salesman for SCX3. Brian was a firm believer and was of the Church of God faith. He loved his entire family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Brian loved to work on and rebuild old tractors and cars.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, his daughter, Teresa Sharron Kesley, his brothers, William Cecil Kesley, Jr., and Willard Edward Kesley, sisters-in-law, Shirley Kesley and Brenda R. Kesley.
Left behind to cherish Brian’s memory are his wife of 56 years, Dorita Kesley, his daughter, Cheyanne Luray Lee, grandchildren, Sidney Baxter, James Baxter and Joline Baxter, brother, Al Kesley, sisters, Barbara Brookshire (Henry) and Lillie White (Dennis), several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held Friday February 7, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Chattanooga Funeral Home Valley View Chapel with Rev. Terry Kesley and Rev. Jeff Kesley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday February 6, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
