Brian Eugene Ownbey Sr.
April 24, 1962 – November 3, 2018
Brian Eugene Ownbey Sr., 56, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was preceded in death by his father Earl E. Ownbey and his grandparents.
Survivors include his son, Brian Eugene Ownbey Jr.; granddaughter, Hannah; mother, Shirley Ownbey, sisters, Denise (Robert) Holder, Kim (Dee) Posey; niece, Rachelle (Anthony) Creamer; nephew, Eric (Michal Sarah) Gailer; great nephews, Chase and Aaron Creamer; cousins, Barry and Perry McAllister; Aunt, Rebecca McAllister, all who loved him dearly.
Brian was a member at Morris Hill Baptist church.
He will be missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Perry McAllister and the Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Morris Hill Cemetery.

Oh, this breaks my heart. Though I haven't seen you in 20 years, I have thought about you often. You were such a sweet, kind and gentle man and I pray for your family in this horrible time of loss. May God bring peace and understanding to all who need it. Rest in peace sweet man.

You all are in our thoughts and Prayers. If you need us for anything , we are here...Brian is and will always be one of a kind! He will be remembered and missed very much!!! So many happy times we shared that go back many years! Lots of laughter and sillyness ! We did go through much loss and sadness as well but we chose to remember the "good times" and stood together and let the memories of those we lost and love... enfold us...Once again we do this with one less in the circle...
