Carlton Joseph Oliver

He was born on May 26, 1949 to the late Julian and Clarina Oliver and preceded in death by his brother, Robert Oliver.

Carlton was a member of Standifer Gap Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was a Superintendent for McKee Foods and was employed there for 41 years. Carlton loved to fly airplanes in his free time, but what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon Holder Oliver, sons, Carlton “CJ” Oliver and Douglas (Vikki) Oliver, stepson, Mike (Brandy) Early, granddaughter, Savannah Oliver, step-grandson, Zachary Early, 3 great-granddaughters, brothers, Julian (Jane) Oliver, Kenneth (Jeanne) Oliver, Edward Oliver and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Standifer Gap Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8310 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421 with Pastor David Sitler officiating. Interment will follow at Plowman Cemetery.
