She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Sparks and was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Edward Fitts.
She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Scott) Morrow, of Rutherfordton, NC, son and daughter-in-law, David (Elif) Fitts, of Tampa, FL, and four grandchildren, Jessica, Madison, Camen, and Aiden, five brothers, Ralph (Millie) Sparks, of Palm Harbor, FL, Donald (Joyce) Sparks, of Jackson, MS, Norman (Helen) Sparks, of Atlanta, GA, Richard Sparks, of Atlanta, GA, John (Donna Jean) Sparks, of Chattanooga, TN, sister, Judy (Jerry) Rimer, of Nashville, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Rimer officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
