Catherine "Katie" Pence

She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Maude Brock and was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Pence, daughter, Pam Duckett and several siblings.

She retired from General Motors in 1976, after 31 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and when time permitted, she enjoyed traveling. She doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Katie was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue (Tom) Goubeaux of Fayetteville, Georgia and Lisa (Lance) Marshall of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Laura, Evie (Mike), Angie (Geoff), Paige (Micah) and Grant (Erin); three grandchildren, Heath, John and Wavorly, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private graveside service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastors Grant Marshall and Clayton Heath officiating.
