Bub served on the Tyner Youth Association Board of Directors for many years. He retired as a division manager from LoJac Safety Incorp. after 28 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Jennie Seagle Smallen; son Chad (Kristi) Smallen; grandchildren Natalie and Brock Smallen; sister Karen (Mike) Miller; brothers Kenny Smallen, Steve (Betty) Smallen and Gary (Mary) Smallen; sister-in-law Mary (Chuck) Beasley; brother-in-law John Seagle; and special extended family Mike and Jackie Palmer.
The family would like to express our gratefulness to Dr. Jitendra Gandhi, Memorial Hospital MICU and IMCU, CKC (Stein Drive) and Nephrology Associates.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with the Rev. Pat Polis officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
