Charles W. “Charlie” Hinds, 83, of Apison, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Apison, he was retired owner of Charlie Hinds Paint and Body Shop in Apison for many years and was also preceded in death two brothers, James Hinds and Eugene Hinds. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Patsy Hinds; daughter, Peggy Turner, Ooltewah; son, Terry Hinds, Apison; granddaughter, Heather Kilgore, Ooltewah; brother, Pat Hinds, SC. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Plowman Cemetery with the Rev. Russ Fairbanks officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway
