Mr. Underwood attended Hamilton Community Seventh-day Adventist Church.
His mother, Margaret Long Underwood preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joyce Ann Underwood; father, Clyde U. Underwood; children, Misty Beth Underwood of Cleveland; Mandy Underwood of California; Amanda Beth Landess and Zandra Renee Frazier both of Chattanooga; brother, Roy Lee Underwood of Cleveland; grandchildren, Adrian, MacKenzie, Amaya, McKinley, Agia, Alerian, Chelley as well as three other grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mr. Underwood will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Hamilton Community Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor David Kettleson officiating.
