I had spoken to Darren on just a handful of occasions and found him to be a bigger than life personality, very engaging, and most likable. This didn’t surprise me because his brother George happens to be my best friend. My wife Lisa and I love the Gray family and I know they are proud of Darren for his commitment to family, country, and most of all Jesus Christ.

Son I was not ready for you to leave this world, but when God calls we must obey. You were a loving son, wonderful father, faithful husband, proud grandfather and one proud Marine and Patriot. You are now in the arms of our loving Savior and we will see you again. We will miss you but we will never forget you. Rest In Peace Son.

My brother was a personality of his own. Very opinionated and you never had to guess where he stood on any issue. But he was also compassionate and caring. He loved his country immensely and always wanted the best for every citizen. He loved and respected his fellow Marines and cherished his days of service to our country. Most importantly Darren had a relationship with Jesus Christ and I find comfort in knowing we will reunite in the very near future.
I love you my brother. Semper Fi.
