Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Brady and Pearl (Bentley) Boger , and was raised in Sallisbury, NC. She attended Seventh Day Christian Assembly in Knoxville, was an avid quilter, and experienced cabinetry finisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Johnson, Sr.; son, James R. Johnson, Jr.; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Survivors include her children, Wade (Sharon) Johnson of Clinton, TN, Linda (Raymond) Cadwallader of McDonald, TN; and Barbara (Dave) Darr of Baltimore, MD; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM on Monday, April 19th at the funeral home, followed by Funeral Services at 6 PM with Pastor Dennis Wheatcroft officiating.
Graveside services will be held 10 AM on Tuesday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
