Doris May Davis, age 92 of Chattanooga died Thursday August 4, 2011. She was born November 2, 1918 in Decatur, IL the daughter of the late Edwin Nichols and Hannah Christina (Boyson) Sargeant. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a retired nurse and educator.
Survivors include daughters Christine E. Sammer of Apopka, FL and Barbara R. James of Collegedale, TN; sister Betty Rose Jutzy of Loma Linda, CA; grandchildren Douglas Sammer of Dallas, TX, Marcus Sammer of Chattanooga, Julie Sammer of St Louis, MO.,Bryan James of Battle Ground, WA, and Valerie Smith of Battle Ground, WA; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be Saturday August 13, 2011 at 4:00 pm at the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church Gospel Chapel.
