Dorothy Ann Kines Dyer, 83, of Chattanooga, TN, passed Tuesday, January 17, 2012. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of Tyner High School, Class of 1947. She was the daughter of the late Clemons and Melba Lemucke Kines and was the wife of the late Eugene Dyer. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Glen Kines and sister, Audrey Kines. Survivors include two daughters, Anna Faye (Buddy) Baxter, Dallas, GA and Melba (Pebie) Steven, Ringgold, GA; five grandchildren, Darrin Hughes, Nancy Baxter, Alan Stevens, Michelle McClure and Jeremiah Stevens; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with the Rev. Jim Spearman officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
