She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Dorothy was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, William G. “Bill” Johns, daughter, Alice M. Farrow, both of Ooltewah, son, William G. Johns, Jr., of Red Bank, two grandchildren, Cynthia J. Farrow, George C. Farrow, two great grandchildren, Anthony L. Duckett, Jennifer L. Meroney, two great-great grandchildren, Nicholas Meroney, Madison Meroney and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Ooltewah with Billy Weatherford, Benjamin King, Cescar DeOcampo, Danny Deas, Chris Farrow and David Meroney serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
