Dear Erik Patty family,
Although I did not know Erik personally, I know his mother Wendy. Words cannot express how sorry I am that you are facing this time of grief. I cannot imagine how you feel right now. But I know, having the faith you have, that you will somehow get thru this. You've a wonderful family for support and, above all, you have God to trust in today. I just want you to know that you can call me anytime to do whatever you need or just to talk.

Love to you and your family,
Rella

Words will never fully be able to express how much my heart hurt at the thought of never hearing you and Marty Manus playing me a song again, your signature stick figure chickens, or how your hair always looked better than mine or any other female in the room either! You were an amazingly kind, absolutely handsome, free spirit. I know you are in perfect bliss with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now. I also know that I will see you again one day. But I wish that you were still here to watch all our kids grow up. You should see all the post with love and funny memories your HUDGE CIRLE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS have posted to say we "will forever love and miss you Erik Patty"! Goodbye love forever in my heart and prayers

Erik... how do I say goodbye to someone I never thought about saying it to...? I love you so much Erik. You’re such a beautiful human being. You were life of the party. You danced to the beat of your own drum , such a outgoing perfect person!! I Can’t seem to yet except the fact you’re gone . . . . All I ever do is think of you. Your beautiful smile, your precious personality. I’ll never forget the day I met you ahaha, when you got into the car you asked to play music and you played a song literally nobody ever Around me knew. I remember smiling looking at you amazed you played it.. Right then and there I knew you and I were going to make history together! I’ll never forget you. I love you Erik patty goodnight 💔

Wendy, I am truly sorry for your loss of your son, Erik. I didn't get a chance to get to know him. Only meeting him at Aunt Nell's funeral. What a fascinating young man he must have been. And what a beautiful daughter he has. I love you and you are in my prayers.
"In the sweet, by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore..."
