Faye Jeanette Jenkins, 86, of Ooltewah died Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born November 19, 1938, to the late Erby and Pauline Fugate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jenkins, son, Mitchell Fugate and two brother, Gene Fugate and Larry Fugate, four sisters, Willadean Lee, Margie Brown, Shirley Cantrell, and Paulette Johnson. Mrs. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of Ooltewah.
Mrs. Jenkins loved her family and one of the greatest joys was being able to spend time with them.
Survivors include two sons, William (Tina) Fugate and Eddie (Lori) Fugate, nephew who was like a son, Mark Johnson, grandchildren, Tyler (Kayla) Fugate, Kerri (Aaron) Campbell, Logan (Lindsey) Fugate, Jake (Caitlin) Fugate, and Will Fugate, great grandchildren, Gracie Fugate, Knox Campbell, Jackson Fugate, Miley Fugate, Sophie Campbell, and Charlie Fugate. Two sisters, Juanita Hood and Beverly Kesley, and a host of nieces and nephews, also survive.
The family will receive friends from 12-2:30 Thursday, March 6 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 Thursday, at the funeral home, Interment will follow in New McDonald Cemetery.
