My name is Chris Stephenson, and I have known George since I came to Western Plastics in late 2012.  He was always willing to help me in any way.  He was a defender of the right way to do things.  

I reached out to all the company's field representatives to announce George's passing, and received many condolences that will be mailed to the family.  He was a stalwart for Western for many years, and did his job very well.  

May the Peace of God that surpasses all understanding comfort the family in this difficult time.

My dad and I would always share our birthdays. This is the last one we shared together.

I am George’s identical twin brother. I certainly have had the longest and closest relationship with George. Starting in the womb of our mother, lasting eighty plus years. Time and distance never separated us. Our relationship was unique, constant, and deep. We were so identical, but still individuals. George was a GREAT person; he was frank but kind and sincere. He was astute, dedicated, methodical, and organized. Consistently he helped others using his polished intellect, common sense, and a sense of humor that always shone thru. There is an enormous vacancy now in my life. I will miss him dearly. George is now at peace; he is at rest. I look forward to being with him in heaven.

I met George nearly 17 years ago when I first joined Western Plastics. From the very beginning, he stood out as a kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful person. No matter how busy he was—and he always seemed to be juggling twenty different tasks—he never hesitated to pause and offer guidance to anyone who needed it.

George was truly one of a kind. Over the years, we shared countless laughs and stories, along with a few tense work conversations as well—usually followed by a smile or a chuckle.  If there was one thing you could always say about George, it was that he was dedicated. Every task had a process, and he believed in doing things the right way, never halfway. His principles and work ethic set a standard for all of us.

I can’t even count how many times he’d look at me and say, “I don’t mean to come across so brash, kid, I just need "xyz" taken care of or fixed.” I respected his straightforward approach deeply, and I always made sure he knew that.

George will be missed by so many whose lives he touched. Thank you, George, for your wisdom, your humor, and your friendship. You made a lasting impact, and you will never be forgotten.

I knew George from the time he started working at Western Plastics. I will miss him and his sense of humor. He worked late hours and so did I, so after everyone would leave for the day, we would share some great laughs. He had many great sayings, "Even Zip the Monkey could do it," which was a running joke between us.  He would also do his Elvis impersonation which was actually pretty good. He loved to also tell people, "You are a diamond in the rough kid." 
George had a step for everything, even folding envelopes, which he did show me his technique for that....lol, only George would have a system in place for such a thing.  
If I had a question about anything, I knew that George would always stop whatever he was doing and help me that is just how he was...a problem solver. 
I would always tell him that he was like a cat with nine lives because he always bounced back after his many health battles, and he would just laugh. He was a strong man who loved his family and was devoted to taking care of them even when he was weak. 
Thank you George for all the laughter over the years....Rest in Peace my Friend.
