He was a student/resident of Orange Grove Center since September 1976 – 2024. He graduated from the Children’s Services Program in 1993 and entered the Adult Service Program that same year.
He loved to take rides on the country roads, swimming, and learning. He also enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and listening to nature. His smile and laugh were contagious and brightened every room he entered.
Jason was loved by his family at Orange Grove 316 Highland, who worked diligently, day and night, with his care, needs, and support. He never has to do without and always had someone he could go to when he needed them.
He will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas David Chastain and Joan Marie Chastain.
He is survived by his brother, Aaron F Chastain and sister, Ann-Marie Chastain.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 24 from 2- 4 and 6-8 and Friday from 12-1:30 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 Friday, October 25 at Old McDonald Cemetery.
