Jerry W. Wilhoite, 63, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was formerly employed with G.W. Electrical Supply and Lectrus Corporation before his retirement. He attended Woodland Park Baptist Church and was an avid golfer and Tennessee Vols fan.
He was the son of the late Chuck and Frances Wilhoite and was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Hartley; and nephew, Rickey D. Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy E. Wilhoite; two sons, Joshua W. Wilhoite, Chattanooga and Tyler Wilhoite, Ringgold; two sisters, Selena Wilhoite Taylor and Jackie Wilhoite Norman and one brother, Ricky Wilhoite all of Chattanooga; half-sister, Beatrice Wilson, California.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood memory Gardens East. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
