Jimmie Malone Scoggins, 74, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a retired Controller from Penske Truck leasing and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. James H. Malone and her mother, Nelly Malone. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years W. Leon Scoggins; two daughters, Sandra Royal and Carol (Stephen) Humble all of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Adam Royal, Kirsten Humble and Noah Humble; two brothers, Paul Malone, Chattanooga and David Malone, Harrison; sister, Linda Queen, Kernersville, NC; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
