He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Goode, two sisters, JoAnn Long, Loretta Goode and two brothers, Billy Goode and Bobby Goode.
Jimmy was a very loving husband and a wonderful father and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He worked many years for J & J Drywall in Cleveland, Tennessee.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Goode, daughter, Kimberly Goode, son, Jimmy Edward Goode, Jr., mother, Dolly Howington, sister, Charlotte Holdaway, all of Harrison, TN, brother, Larry (Teresa) Goode, of Ringgold, GA, brother, David (Terri) Goode, of East Ridge, TN, sister, Tina Sparks, of Fort Payne, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee with Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
