Mrs. JoAnne Wells Dragoo, 82, of Rossville, Georgia, was born on February 16, 1935, in Keokee, Virginia. She passed from death unto life and into the presence of Almighty God and her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at home.
JoAnne was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church, where she was active in the choir and MOPS.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Owen and Myrtle Wells; daughter, Elizabeth Anne Dragoo; brothers, John, Johnse, Jimmy, and Kyle Wells; her sister, Joyce; and grandson, Isaac Burgess.
Survivors include: husband, Paul; sons, Steve (Nancy) and Mark (Julie); daughters, Susan and Cathy (Sam); 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; siblings, Joel, Jerry and Jack Wells; Nan Kelso, Janet Colburn, June Coffey, Julie Benson, Hazel McKinney and Edith Flannery.
A celebration of JoAnne’s life will be at 6:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Silverdale Baptist Church, Creekside Building. Visitation is 3:00-6:00 PM.
