To the children of Mr. Joe and Mrs. Dorothy Ann,

I am a neighbor of theirs and live a few doors down. I just learned yesterday of what happened and was so very sad. I have become acquainted with them since I moved back to the street five years ago. Your mom loved for me to walk our dog down to see her. He loved her attention. I've never met a kinder more loving husband to his wife than he was to your mom. I enjoyed them so very much. It became routine to stop and "porch sit" when they were outside. Many of us would do that and they always welcomed us all so warmly. Your tribute to them was so wonderful and so fitting. While so hard to know they aren't there now, it is comforting to know they are together. May God continue to bless you in the memories you have of them.

What a beautiful Tribute Video that was posted for those of us to see who could not attend the funeral. We have known and loved Joe and Dorothy over many years and they will be greatly missed. Our grandson Seth was blessed to have them as grandparents, as well as Ken & Shannon having them for parents. Joe and Dorothy were always so gracious with a smile and a laugh. Through this great loss there is comfort knowing that they are now together in Paradise with their Lord and Saviour. God is good.

When Mom and I joined Rose City Immanuel, Joe and Dorothy were, among others, so friendly and made us feel at home. I was in Junior High and Joe started a youth choir and encouraged me by having me play the piano for them. I always remember them with a smile and their laughter was contagious.

Ken and Shannon- My memories of your Mom and Dad go back to my teens at Rose City Immanuel. Your Mom and Dad always paid for bus transportation for many of our youth outings. Your Dad led our choir, every Sunday morning for years, in beautiful songs of praise. Your Dad, Joe Armbrust, asked me to play piano for the first time at Rose City Immanuel at 15 yrs old when Mrs. Gladys Woods was out one Sunday. What a priviledge, what an honor. I told him, "there's only certain songs that I know how to play." He said, "okay, then YOU pick out the songs." I was blessed to be able to work with them and you, Ken at WicksNWax when I called and asked for a job. They have been a real blessing to my life. May God give you comfort and peace. Deb

Ken, Shannon, Seth and Family: May God grant you strength at this time of loss ! Words cannot express our shock, our sorrow and our sadness over the tragic accident involving your beloved parents. They were were wonderful kind people who were much loved. They always treated me like Ken's other " brother ". I really got to know them when we would watch Seth play football for Catholic High. Rest assured that your parents were so proud of all of you ! Now they are in Heaven with all of our loved ones who have passed away. May they rest in the Peace of Christ ! I remember when we were kids, Dorothy and Joe would treat us just like our other cousins that really were related to them. They were so very, very nice and had two great children - Ken and Shannon. My heart is broken but I look forward to seeing them again. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF TOMORROW, GOD IS ALREADY THERE. Love, Janet Eberle-Wilkins
