Johnny was a great guy and a good sport. I will forever miss screwing with him on a daily basis at the golf course. Rest in peace buddy.

I worked with Johnny at the old Revco at Eastgate for several years and we had a lot of fun, he taught me so much about people and how to work with and for them. I was also very excited to be able to work with his grandson, Corey at my CVS in East Brainerd. Johnny was a good and respected pharmacist, a good dad and granddad, and a great man and friend to me. I am so happy that he got to spend a good bit of his retirement at Brown Acres because I very clearly remember how much he loved the game.
He also loved his family, kids and grandkids. And boy how he loved the Lord, he held a deep and abiding faith through good times and bad. I wish all of you, his loved ones comfort and consolation at his passing. Thank you, Liz Ezzell

Johnny always had a kind word for everyone. He was so positive and so much fun to be around; whether golfing or eating or talking, he always made you feel special. He loved his wife Debbie, loved people and most of all, loved Jesus.

God bless all your family at this time. Johnny and I grew up together in Avondale. He was my first boyfriend. I have lost touch over the years, but will always remember his ready smile and sweet spirit. He was a wonderful person. Love to all of you. May the Lord grant you His peace which passes understanding.

To say we will miss Johnny will be an understatement. I have opened up Brown Acres for over 20 years and he was always the first person I would see. Always smiling and ready to play golf. He would make the biscuits, fill the ice machine and pull out carts. A nap would be included somewhere in between.
We will miss his smile and laughter here at Brown Acres. I know my friend is in heaven with his saviour looking for the biscuits, ice machine and pulling out carts getting ready to play some golf . We all loved Johnny and will miss him. Love you John.

My love, prayers, and sympathy are extended to David Humphreys, Joni Evatt, and Debbie Humphreys.
Johnny was a big part of my life growing up going hunting, spending Sundays together at my Grandparents playing with his and Charlotte’s kids, going on vacations together and working for him at his drugstore when I was a teenager.
Great Memories ! Fantastic Uncle !
