Jon,

You were an amazing friend, fellow band member, and all around great guy. I remember meeting you at band camp prior to Golden Gate High School opening in 2004. You were telling jokes when I walked up to talk to my cousin, Josh; and you found out Josh and I were related. You were an amazing trumpet player - from standing on the sidelines (for the National Anthem and our halftime performances), to stand tunes (especially “I Like The Way You Move” by OutKast), and the Patriotic Concerts paying tribute to the Veterans; we knew, that’s Jon playing that part! I will miss yelling your name in the hallway, “Mennini” and hanging out with you on 5th Ave at Kilwin’s Ice Cream and going to the Naples Pier; in your silver bug with Josh. I will always cherish the good times we had. You are truly missed by the Titan Band Family. Once a Titan, always a Titan. Love and miss you Jon.

To the Family,

Jon is in a better place where there is no more pain or suffering. God’s got him now and he’s watching over us all, family and friends as one. I pray for peace, love, comfort, and strength during this time for us all.

Love Always,
Courtney
