Mr. Adams was born and raised in Chattanooga. He was a former member of Highland Park Baptist Church, retired from Logan & Moore Construction as a carpenter and was a member of the Chattanooga Local Carpenter’s Union. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman, gardener, hunter and nature lover.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Adams; parents, Raymond and Ethel Adams; sister, Inez Johnson; brother, Bobby Adams, step-mother, Margaret Orton Adams; and infant siblings, Charles and James Adams.
Surviving are his children, David Adams, Deborah (Jeff) Goulart, Faye Leppla and Brenda (Bob) Branch; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce Walker, Jerry Edmondson, Johnny (Anna) Adams and Jimmy (Brenda) Adams; and many nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, May 16th at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM on Monday, May 17th at the funeral home with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
