Laurie A. Moore, 68, of Harrison, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. A native of Berkeley, CA, she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area most of her life and was the daughter of the late William and Hazel L. Souza. She attended the Bayside Baptist Church and was retired from Tennessee-American Water Company and from Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department.
She was preceded in death by a Nephew Edward Lynn Souza
Survivors include her daughter Stephanie Moore; two granddaughters, Emilee and Jenna Wisecup; two brothers, John Souza and Bill Souza, Jr. both of San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews Carla Mulder, Stephen Souza, Nick Souza, Gabrielle Souza, Abigail Souza, Hannah Souza. A special Thank You for your love and support to Sheila Ashby, Tina Labbe and Diane Riojas.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at New McDonald Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
