She was born on August 26, 1924 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Alvin Lee and Lillie Frances Duvall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses B. Vaughan and sister, Charlotte Francis.
Loretta retired from Combustion Credit Union where she worked as their head teller. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include her three children, Keith Vaughan, of Birmingham, AL, Karen Murray (John), of Kingsport, TN, Kenneth Vaughan (Sharon), of Ooltewah, TN, seven grandchildren, Lara, David, Vonda, Christopher, Barry, Michael, Daniel, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be buried in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
