Mary “Lucille” Camp, 87, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. Lucille was born in Nebraska where she met her husband. She lived in Dunlap, TN for 10 years and then Signal Mountain, TN for 50 years. She was an active member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church serving as church Librarian for 30+ years. She was preceded in death by her husband Dempsie Camp. Survivors include five children Marjorie, Kenneth, Joan, Emmett and Harold; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison, TN with the Rev. Eric Stitts officiating. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. (EDT) in Camp Cemetery in the Fredonia Community of Sequatchie County. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Mount Carmel Baptist Church on Signal Mountain, TN. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway and on Monday from 12-1 p.m. at Bayside.
