Lucius "Luke" Melvin Williams

He was the son of the late Lucius and Ellen Lorene Williams and was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Bass.

He was a retired Church of God minister and had pastored for over 64 years. Luke also taught school in the Cleveland area for sixteen years. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Williams, of Whiteside, TN, four children, Randall Williams, of Wildwood, FL, Jeffrey (Dayna) Williams, of Union. MO, Glenn (Annette) Williams, of Zephyrhills, FL, Janet Williams, of Flintstone, GA, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Sexton and Rev. Carroll Allen officiating. The interment will follow in Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in McDonald, TN.

The service will be livestreamed on Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel’s Facebook page.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021, at the funeral home.
