She was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 6, 1932 to the late Charlie George Dewey Evans and Essie Lee Gladson Evans. Mable worked well over 40 years in the nursing profession as a CNA in the field of patient care. She was a wonderful cook, loved country music and was quiet a poet. Mable was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frank Lindsey and their beloved son, Kenny Guy Lindsey.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Browning Walker; son, Larry (Shauna) Lindsey; daughter, Rhonda (Herb) Rice; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 5 PM Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery.
