Margie Geneva Brown

Margie was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of True Church of God and retired as a CNA from a local nursing home. Margie’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She was a dedicated and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

Surviving are her husband, Tony Brown; daughters, Karen (Mike) Bryant, Elaine (David) Cross, Stacy Lands and Destany Cannon; niece, Brenda Snyder; step-daughter, Tonia Smith; step-son, T. J. (Katie) Brown; grandchildren, Pepper Cannon, Nikki (David) Bloom, Ashley (David) Langford, Kyle (Holleigh) Hood, Larayna (Andre) Yevtushuk, Ricky (Kayla) Cross, Brandon (Autumn) Stokes, Halie Dorn, Victoria Brown, Miranda Brown, Lawrence Smith, Diamond Smith, Dustin Brown, Mason Brown, Brooklynn Brown, Presleigh Brown and Sadie Brown; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Jenkins, Beverly Kesley and Juanita Hood; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Hood; parents, Alfred Erby Fugate and Mary Pauline Cereatt; and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Tuesday. December 14, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Bowman officiating.

Burial will follow at New McDonald Cemetery with Pastor Sonny Ledford officiating.
