Marie Irene Roy - 93, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at a local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Henri and Marie Louise Laflamme and was preceded in death by her husband, George Roy, two brothers, Wilfred and Antonio Laflamme and a sister, Yvonne Mercier.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and had worked many years as a seamstress.
Survivors include her three children, Gloria (Ross) Roy, of Harrison, TN., Fr. George Roy, O.M.I., of Chicago, IL., Robert (Linda Padgett) Roy, of Canton, GA., four grandchildren, Michelle, Shannon, Nathan and Dianna, two great grandchildren, Ryman and Emma, sister, Rose Park, Augusta, ME., brother-in-law, Roger Roy, of Lowell, MA., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Fr. George Roy officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
