She was born in Dalton, GA and was the daughter of the late Henry Glenn White and Janie Sue Norman White. Marlene graduated from Dalton High School, class of 1949.
She was a devoted wife, mother and home maker but was one who was dedicated to her family and friends. Marlene was a member of the Ooltewah Baptist Church since 1974, having taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 73 years, Harold Lamar Donaldson; sons, Jerry (Kathy) Donaldson, Rising Fawn, GA and Glenn Donaldson, Ooltewah, TN; brother, Michael (Brenda) White, Dalton, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will no public visitation at the funeral home.
A Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Colloms officiating.
For those attending the Graveside Service, please do not arrive at the Cemetery before 12:15 PM. Please stop at the office and wait for the Funeral Home to arrive.
