Mrs. Melba A. Johnson Humphries

She was a member of Apison Baptist Church. She was a loving Mother and will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Woodrow Humphries; son Carl H. Humphries; grandchildren, Pam and Claude Humphries; aunt and uncle Tom and Mary Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn H. Wiseman and husband, Tony; daughter-in-law, Linda Humphries; grandchildren, Carla Baker and husband, Nelson; Karen Koelle and husband, Chris; Carl Humphries Jr; and Karey Humphries; 2 great-grandchildren, Melinda Baker and Christian Koelle all from Ooltewah and McDonald, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Valley View Chapel with Rev. Bob Dasal and Rev. Russell Maroon officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bradley County. Pallbearers will be Carl Humphries Jr, Karey Humphries, Don Humphries, Nelson Baker, Chris Koelle and Thomas Wiseman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Apison Baptist Church, Building Fund, or the AWANA Program, P.O. Box 309, Apison, TN 37302.
