Mildred Manis McDonald, 95, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. A native of Whitfield County, GA, she was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and has been a resident of East Ridge Retirement Center for the past 14 years, where she had many friends. She was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church and was retired as Vice President and Treasurer of Chattanooga Production Credit Association with 44 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Lillie Ann Manis and was the wife of the late Clyde McDonald. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Margaret McDonald Kroeger along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Steve Rowland officiating. Interment will be held at Monday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
