Millard Van Couch

Born on June 7th, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Millard was the son of the late Limuel Earl Couch and Lena White Couch.

Millard was a graduate of Tyner High School and also attended Cleveland State Community College. He retired from the Gainesville Department of Water Resources in Gainesville, Ga. Millard proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was of the Baptist faith.

In his free time, Millard found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing and camping and enjoying the outdoors.

Millard is survived by his sister and brother-in-law; Linda and Eddie Maynard of Ooltewah. He leaves behind two nieces: Tracy (Todd) Randolph and Kristy (Chris) Coleman. He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews: Ansley and Weston Randolph; Brodie and Brynn Coleman.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Greenwood Cemetery, 1954 Greenwood Rd., Chattanooga, TN with military honors and Pastor Scott McMillan officiating.
