Nancy Lee (Pyle) Wiley

She was a faithful member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Cleveland, TN and then Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga, TN.

She was born on January 2, 1938 in Chattanooga, TN and was a graduate of Chattanooga Central High School, class of 1956. On November 9, 1956, she married Harvey Leake (Lee) Wiley. They were married 58 years before Lee’s passing on June 21, 2014.

Nancy was employed by Unum for a number of years before retiring. She was the recipient of the SCORE Recognition award for her excellent administrative skills she provided during her tenure at UNUM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Ruth Hennessee Pyle and Wilfred Milton Pyle; sister, Mary Ruth Pyle Rutherford.

She is survived by her three children; Anthony (Tony) Lee Wiley (Linda) of Chattanooga, TN; Robert Michael (Mike) Wiley (Debbie) of Harrison, TN; Laura Elisabeth Wiley Clark (Chuck) of Birchwood, TN; Six Grandchildren; Harold Frank Wiley (Christine), Germany; Christina Lee Gregory, Chattanooga, TN; Heather Michelle Gregory, Harrison, TN; Leisa Michelle Wiley, Red Bank, TN; Brett Lee Wiley, Jacksonville, FL; Anthony Lee Wiley Jr., California; Eight Great-Grandchildren; Sara Elisabeth Roach, Abigail Faith Roach, Madison Paige Gregory, Aria Izabel Wiley, Ami Wiley, Aiden James Cuthbert, Kian Wiley, and Sophia Wiley. She also has several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm, Friday, August 30, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel in Chattanooga, TN with Rev. Jen Newell and Pastor Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at 2 PM in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Jen Newell officiating.
