He was a former student at East Hamilton High School and an avid reader. He was formerly employed with Trew Electric.
Nathan had a love for the outdoors and competed nationally in BMX bike racing.
He was a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Chattanooga.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Lisa Trew, sister, Sarah Trew, paternal grandparents, Richard and Doris Trew, all of Apison, TN, maternal grandparents, Nelson and Jerri Bennett, of Soddy Daisy, TN, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Anderle officiating. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
