Patricia Ann " Patty" Griffith, 72, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away December 1, 2019. Born on March 4, 1947, she lived most of her life in and around the Chattanooga area, and was a retired floral designer with Chattanooga Funeral Home Florist with 20 years of service.

She played Woman’s Softball for many years as a pitcher and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends, which were the most important things to her. She was a very loyal, loving and giving mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and wonderful friend. She was always there to help anyone in need, no matter what it was.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Reba M. Richardson; father Walter Richardson; brothers John M. Richardson, James W. Richardson; Sisters Martha Jo Richardson; Virginia L. Jones (Albert); and Nephew James E. " Jimmy" Richardson.

She is survived by her son, William Kenneth " Kenny " Griffith (Mathew Lee) of Cleveland TN, Norma Jean Jones, Ooltewah TN; Beverly Gail Farist (Charles) of Ellijay Ga.; granddaughters Destinee Brown (Tanner) and Beverly Lee; great grandson, Chase Brown all of Cypress TX; also special nieces and nephews, along with some great nieces and nephews; sister in law; also her wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Weyland Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Bethsadia Cemetery in Meigs County.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.

I will always cherish every moment we ever spent together camping, fishing, just coming to visit us and stay up late playing cards or games . the love and laughter we all shared are priceless moments i will never forget ... All those precious memories i will carry you in my heart always !
