She was born in Crossett, AR to the late Paul Dean Davis and Charlotte Ann Berry Davis. Paula shared a close and loving bond with her family. Her father, an U.S. Air Force Chaplin, moved his family many times throughout the states, Caribbean and Western Europe. Paula loved each location and the unique experiences she encountered.
Paula helped many individuals during her Nursing career that spanned some 40 plus years. Her love of horses, horseback riding, fishing and camping with family and friends brought her much enjoyment. She also spent time raising chickens, honeybees, cooking and baking.
Paula grieved and suffered deeply with the recent and successive loss of her parents and brothers. She struggled valiantly during the past couple of years with a continual degeneration of her physical being. Never the less, she maintained her strong sense of humor and unalienable need to help others. Paula was always a giver, the world was a better place when she was with us.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randall G. Davis, Rodger A. Davis and Matthew H. Davis.
Survivors include her nieces, Katlynn Ann Davis and Laura A. Davis; one aunt and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life service for Paula will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David King officiating.
