He was born November 29, 1961 in Richmond, Virginia and relocated to Tennessee this spring to be with family.
He was married to his wife of 36 years, whom he loved with all his heart. He adored his children and grandchildren and loved to share his love for Jesus. He was funny, protecting, hardworking, a mentor and encourager to everyone he met.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie Kahrs, son, Kristopher Kahrs, daughter, Katie Guyselman (Jeremy), three grandchildren, Jayce, Fisher, Rylie, his brother, Kenneth Kahrs (Debbie), nephew, Cory Kahrs (Danielle), great niece, Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith Kahrs, grandparents, Margaret and Raymond Gandrey and James Corker, Sr. and Estelle Corker.
A celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Victory Tabernacle Church of God in Midlothian, Virginia.
The family will receive friends, at the church, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.
