She was a 1989 graduate of Ooltewah High School where she received high honors in the ROTC program. She was currently accepted into the nursing program at Chattanooga State and was scheduled to begin this coming fall.
Rhonda was co-owner of Thatcher’s Towing and was also employed with Open Arms Care in Ooltewah.
She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Stacy Cross, son Tyler Cross, daughter, Alicia Cross, all of Ooltewah, TN., parents, Ronald and Barbara Marshall, of Apison, TN., sister, Jennifer Cross, of Ringgold, GA., father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Wanda Cross, of McDonald, TN., and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Plowman Cemetery in Apison, Tennessee with Rev. Marvin Jones officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
