

He was the son of the late Dennard and Ruth Ennis and grew up in Macon, Georgia.
Ron attended Southern College where he studied music. He was a talented vocalist, as well as pianist, and enjoyed sharing his musical gifts with others. He loved golfing and spending time out on the course. He retired, after working many years, as a sales representative in the cabinet industry.
He was a member of the Standifer Gap SDA Church.
He was preceded in death by his step-son, Donald Lee McColpin.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ennis, of Ooltewah, TN, two daughters, Audra Lee Ennis, of Ooltewah, TN, Ronda Jo Ennis, of Chattanooga, TN, two step-children, Lisa Moore, of Collegedale, TN, Tony (Linda) McColpin, of Chattanooga, TN, granddaughter, Jordan Lee Ennis, three step-grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson and Montgomery, two brothers, Denny Phil (Jeannie) Ennis, of Macon, GA, Gregory Orville Ennis, of Phoenix, AZ, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, in his honor, will be held at a later date.
