Roy was born and raised in New Athens, Illinois and was a longtime resident of Belleville, Illinois before moving to Chattanooga in his later years. He retired from American Transit Corporation with over 40 years of service. Roy was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta E. Krupp and daughter-in-law, Vicki Krupp.
Roy is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Don R. (Donna) Krupp, of Chattanooga and Dennis R. Krupp, of Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Roy will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday, April 2, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 7711 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421 with Father Gilbert Diaz officiating.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff at Morning Pointe on Shallowford Road for the wonderful care given to Roy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church.
