Samuel E. James
February 12, 1925 – March 12, 2018
Samuel E. James, 93, of McDonald, TN, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. A native of Huntsville, AL, he has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past ten years and was a retired Field Engineer from General Electric. He proudly served in W.W. II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances James and his second wife, Blanche James; brother, Herbert and sister Elizabeth.
Survivors include four children, Sharon Gale James, Samuel T. James, David C. James and Charlotte Crane; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Leon James and sister, Frances McNeal; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday before the 5 pm service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
