Shirley was a devoted member of Lake Hills Church of Christ, where she lovingly served as a past church secretary. Her quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew her.
A gifted artist, Shirley found joy and peace in painting beautiful landscapes that reflected her love of nature. She was also a true animal lover, always caring for the creatures that crossed her path. Throughout her life, she worked with dedication at Erlanger Hospital and Olan Mills, where she formed many lasting friendships.
Those who knew Shirley will remember her for her gentle spirit, creativity, and the warmth she brought to every room. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with all who were blessed to share in her life.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1954 Greenwood Road, Chattanooga, TN 37406, with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.
Shirley’s legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
