Les was born and raised in Chattanooga and was a life-long resident, and as a young adult, he was involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters were he gained life-long friends. He was a mechanic by trade, something he did all his life. He enjoyed NASCAR, and was a kind, hard-working man that would always try his best to help anyone. He was loved by many, and loved his dogs, Bradley and Kila.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Berry Vick.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Melodie Jones; their four children, Sharon Jones, Nichole Jones, Elizabeth Jones and Ryan Jones; 7 grandchildren; a sister; several nephews and a great-nephew.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday and 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with Kara Reno officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
